Five key stages
Innovation lifecycle: five key stages
The innovation lifecycle defined by AXA Technology Services is based on a five-stage approach:
- Brainstorming: generating ideas and identifying innovative solutions,
- Qualification: factoring in various criteria: business interest, technical feasibility, etc.,
- Testing: carrying out showcases to demonstrate the solutions,
- Industrialization,
- Deployment.
The Innovation group is focused on the first three stages, working closely with Marketing and based on its priorities.
These innovative solutions are evaluated in line with a stringent process in order to firmly establish their value added. The Product Development and Marketing teams then transform them into services for our clients.
The innovative solutions can be defined in view of the areas for improvement targeted:
- Purely businesses for our clients (insurance, assistance, banking services, etc.),
- Aimed at employees, enabling them to be more independent, improve their efficiency, increase their mobility, etc.
- Focused on in-house AXA Technology Services processes, increasing quality of service or optimizing operating costs.
A few of the subjects looked at by innovation include:
- client relations,
- collaborative work,
- mobility,
- data access and processing,
- security.
