Consolidation, rationalization and transversality
AXA Technology Services was born out of the consolidation of the various teams managing IT infrastructures in AXA Group companies around the world. Grouping them together in this way has made it possible to rationalize in-house operating processes, which have become transversal, while generating savings and improving quality.. AXA Technology Services has based its processes on ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices, and uses 6 Sigma methodology to improve them.
To further strengthen this convergence, AXA Technology Services has grouped its companies together within an organization built around five divisions:
North America (US, Canada, Mexico)
Northern Europe (Germany, Belgium)
Central Europe (UK, Switzerland, Eastern countries)
Southern Europe (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco)
Asia-Pacific (Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan)
A specific structure is dedicated to clients with international activities.
The international telecommunication network is managed by a global team.
Support and transversal functions
The headquarters of AXA Technology Services, located in Paris (France) and Jersey City (United States), manages the transversal programs spanning all AXA Technology Services companies around the world: quality of service, innovation, etc., as well as support functions, such as finance, human resources, marketing, communications, client service, etc.
Governance
The governance structure at AXA Technology Services is based on:
A board of directors or AXA Tech Board.
This steering body is mainly made up of members of Chief Executive Officers and Chief Information Officers from AXA’s largest companies worldwide. Its principal mission is to define the company’s strategy.
An Executive Leadership Team.
The AXA Technology Services Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meets on a weekly basis. Headed by Dirk Marzluf, the Chief Executive Officer, the ELT is made of 16 members whose mission is to implement the company’s strategy. Click here to access the organization chart of the ELT.
